Minseo expressed her excitement about her official debut with "The Grand Dream".

Before her debut, Minseo caught attention with the track "Yes", which was the official response track to Yoon Jong Shin's hit "Like It". On the March 13th installment of SBS Power FM's 'Park So Hyun's Love Game', the singer said, "When I placed 1st with 'Yes', it was fascinating to even be on stage. I was caught offguard, so I just said what I felt like and came offstage."
When DJ Park So Hyun asked her whether she was more excited about her official debut or winning 1st with "Yes", and Minseo answered, "I think I was more happy when I released an album in my name."
