On the November 29 airing of MBC's 'Radio Star', Hong Soo Ah talked about her career in China.�
The actress, who has gained immense popularity overseas for her beauty and productions, revealed she wasn't welcomed by Chinese actresses in the beginning. She explained, "I was greeting the actresses for the first time, and the atmosphere was cold already. With me right in front of them, they said, 'She wouldn't even be able to understand the lines. What if my acting gets harmed too?' I understood what they were saying but I pretended like I didn't."

She continued, "Later on, I understood the actresses' feelings. I memorized the Chinese script in order to not make mistakes. I work harder there than I did in Korea."
