On the morning of August 21, Mr. Ko was found bleeding at a law office in Seoul. He was rushed to the hospital, however, did not survive.�
Cho (28)�was arrested 3 days after the incident for the death�of Mr. Ko (48). Cho remained silent on the numerous questions by the press but when asked if the killing was premeditated and he planned on killing Mr. Ko ahead of time, Cho answered, ''No.'' To the next question asking if has anything to say to his family, Cho stated, "I'm sorry."

The police revealed additional information about the alleged murder and said, ''We have confirmed that he has purchased the knife at a market on the day of the crime. He is not a part of a gang. He's just a regular person. He's currently unemployed."
An expert also shared thoughts about the case. He stated, "Cho is messing with his words on purpose. He's pretending to have a mental illness to hide the true insides of the crime. It's a 100% a planned murder. The malicious intent is there when he purchased the knife."
