Mnet responded to Kang Daniel's current controversy.
He had recently broken the rules by hinting to his fans which song he wanted, which would break the system of viewers voting for which song they thought suited the trainees the best. He had apologized for his actions and promised to put more thought into everything he did.
Mnet said, "We acknowledge the fairness controversy around Kang Daniel and we're currently looking into it. We will be talking about what to do after we have understood what happened."
