I-DLE performed a special pre-game show at the LA Angels home game, captivating local baseball fans with their energy and star power.
On August 4th (local time), I-DLE attended the LA Angels vs. Tampa Bay Rays game at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California, as special guests for Korean Heritage Night. Prior to the start of the game, the group took the field for a celebratory performance and ceremonial first pitch, drawing cheers from the crowd.
The group kicked off the event with an energetic performance that raised the excitement at the stadium. Dressed in personalized LA Angels uniforms that showcased each member’s unique style, they performed "TOMBOY", "Wife", and "Queencard", winning over the audience. It marked the first time that an artist performed their own songs as part of a pre-game show at an LA Angels home game.
In addition to the performance, the members spent meaningful moments with LA Angels star players Mike Trout and Zach Neto, as well as legendary Korean MLB player Kim Byung Hyun and former KBO pitcher Dustin Nippert.
Later, Yuqi took the mound for the ceremonial first pitch, cheered on by her fellow members. With a perfect wind-up and strong throw, she brought good luck to the home team. She shared, “It’s such an honor to throw my first pitch in the MLB. Thanks to Kim Byung Hyun’s great coaching, I was able to do it well. Performing with the members made the experience even more special.”
That day, the LA Angels secured a come-from-behind victory against the Tampa Bay Rays, solidifying I-DLE’s image as “goddesses of victory” even in the U.S.
Meanwhile, after appearing at 'KCON LA 2025' on August 2nd and 3rd, (G)I-DLE is set to perform at the 'ALL THE K-POP STAGE IN MACAU', which will be held at the Venetian Arena in Macau on August 9th (KST).
