Lee Soo Geun, a well-known TV personality, is mourning the loss of his father.
On August 5th KST, his agency, Big Planet Made Entertainment, announced, “Our artist Lee Soo Geun’s father passed away on the 5th after battling a long-term illness. He was 81 years old.”
The statement continued, “The funeral will be held quietly with close family and relatives at the funeral hall of Asan Medical Center in Seoul. We kindly ask for your warm condolences and consideration so that Lee Soo Geun and his family can grieve in peace.”
Meanwhile, JTBC’s 'Knowing Bros' expressed condolences and canceled its upcoming filming out of respect for Lee Soo Geun.
A representative from JTBC stated on August 6th KST, “The recording of Knowing Bros scheduled for August 7th has been canceled,” in consideration of Lee’s bereavement.
