ok first the link doesnt work. this song is terrible. but CL voice is nice, but theres no substance in the words. she also just repeated the first verse for the third, which is super lazy. really lil yatchy? he said less than CL some how.

imjustme Saturday, May 27, 2017

Wake me up when she does a collab with Drake or riri.  :) Otherwise, I'm going to keep sleeping on her 😴.

Lixxz imjustme Saturday, May 27, 2017

In essence, "I only listen to mainstream music". Lil Yachty is very popular in certain places in the US and he has some really good music. Personally, I think CL sounds a bit lazy in this song, but I'm not going to sit here and pretend that a collab with lil yachty isn't beneficial for her, just because it's not *my* cup of tea....

imjustme Saturday, May 27, 2017

I like the song; but, I don't think it's going to be a radio hit.  It needs's like a filler song on a really good needs another needs Drake to be a hit.  :)

bufallobiff Saturday, May 27, 2017

Apparently CL isn't as BADD as she thought.......

lanterngirl Saturday, May 27, 2017

I hate to bring up another band, but BTS seems to be more well-known among the US public than she is now, and they did it without an official US debut. I think she should just keep doing what she does best back home in Korea, and the US will acknowledge her if she stays awesome, and THAT'S when she should release the next English single.

chloe29 lanterngirl Saturday, May 27, 2017

Nah, the people who know bts are only the fans and a bunch of kpop reacting dudes on youtube who have been bombarded by delulu fans to react to their At least CL is recognized by some US artists and have appeared in several NON-KPOP shows and concerts.

allkpopellie chloe29 Saturday, May 27, 2017

Well said. self-proclaimed biggest fandom and self-proclaimed most popular kpop group in the US. Add celebrities being harassed on Instagram and twitter by those crazy and delulu fans. PSY is the one who made it to the American mainstream.

thebaddest2ne1 chloe29 Saturday, May 27, 2017

Yeah but it's BTS's FANS that push them to ended up winning a billboard award and getting recognized by E news,ET, etc. Yeah, CL has been around bigger artist but, she still hasn't technical "debut" yet. While BTS is being BTS and taking a W. I feel like CL is trying to adapt and not making it as far as BTS.

mb130 chloe29 Saturday, May 27, 2017

Maybe you're right but it won't change the fact that BTS, in just one day, won a Billboard Music Award and got more attention from US media than CL and her try hard little career in the US. BTS made history in the US, without releasing a song in english, with zero promotions and without a big company that spends millions promoting them. I mean, they didn't even try to have success in the US, it just happened. "CL is recognized by some US artists and have appeared in several NON-KPOP shows and concerts" yet she still can't make it. As PSY said, "I’m a very unique example of success and so is BTS. In a way, it seems like the artists that people don’t expect these kinds of results from are the ones who experience that sort of unprecedented success".

You can dislike my comment, but is BTS as successful as you guys state it in the US? because I live in the US and have seen/heard/read nothing about them, except in kpop gossips news, ET and E-news, I don't watch/read that ... The only artist that people were talking from the Billboard thing was Drake, but PSY I can't deny it, his music made it to nightclubs, to the radio, + a few interviews on the radio, 5 year old American kids knew the song and the dance, he was the hype, he went mainstreamed. I hope BTS won't become like our artists -> disposable artists with disposable music. Name of the singer? Title of the song? Wishing them the best, but imo American people don't really treat their artists well, most like a Summer fling :(, except for a few exceptions. I can see people rolling eyes at BTS and their delulu fans. I mean if BTS is as mainstreamed as you state it here. And CL ... I don't think anybody knows about her too.

i know a lot of people don't know who lil yatchy is and he is considered either amazing or absolutely horrible depending on who you talk to, but he is a big deal for a very large demographic. you might not have heard of him, but tons of others have. also you guys have to remember, this isn't her releasing this song as her own, as something she created and put out, it's just a feature on a popular rapper's album. so it's not really fair to say she should go home because of this song - like TRUST ME - i do not think she is gonna be a big star here honestly, like too much time has passed, too many wasted opportunities, too little promotion but also at the same time, so many famous people from all over have vouched for her, promoted her, helped her perform, but nothing has gained traction. she should have continued on the wave of "hello bitches" and promoted like crazy and really gone after it. that one was gaining traction and had the ability to get her name out there in a significant way, like vogue picked it up and made a video out of it and people loved it, not just kpop fans, but tons of my friends who hate kpop had heard of it and loved it. like i think it's over at this point and if she does release an album it will only be a big deal to her fans, but i also am still holding out hope. i'm not really a fan, like i only knew who she was after 2ne1 stopped promoting and right about the time minzy left but i feel like i'm being more of a fan than half of these people commenting. like you aren't offering constructive criticism, a lot of you are just being hateful.

qwerty_Kpop Friday, May 26, 2017

she should give up already and come back... it's clear she has no one to invest on her US album and featuring in a nugu's song that's not even part of the standard edition is not gonna give her the exposure she requires... she has wasted so much time that now it seems she's gonna flop even if there's a Korean comeback... general public hates her...

Lixxz qwerty_Kpop Saturday, May 27, 2017

Lil yachty is veeeeeeeery popular in some US regions. Who you calling a nugu?

qwerty_Kpop Lixxz Saturday, May 27, 2017

but not popular enough to give CL the exposure she aspires. and btw that's what we call nugu who're popular only in some regions but are a "who" in others... CL is also popular among the kpop camp in US, but that's not good enough.... On top of it, ft in a deluxe version song!!! What was she even thinking...

Lixxz qwerty_Kpop Saturday, May 27, 2017

Now we are just arguing semantics, because the only version of nugu I know means not known by the general public (anyone well known, even if only in the regions they promote, shouldn't be considered a nugu). And I didnt say anything about whether it's smart for CL :/

ellagkpopunnie Friday, May 26, 2017

Chaerin eonnie, stop this garbage and go back to yg where you used to release gold 😭

mind_blown Friday, May 26, 2017

Dont like the song much tbh
