Mnet has set out to revive both K-Pop and local business through its new reality program, 'Idol School Attack'.
The program, produced by Jo Hye Mi, invites a global K-Pop superstar act each episode to appear at a surprise performance in any region of South Korea requested by fans. These K-Pop superstars will then not only perform for local crowds, but also host a pop-up event promoting the local specialties, introducing local and regional goods to fans around the world.
The first guests of 'Idol School Attack', visiting a surprise location somewhere within South Korea in July, will be global K-Pop acts NCT Dream and TOMORROW x TOGETHER. Both groups are set to make comebacks on July 14 and July 21, respectively.
The official broadcast of Mnet's 'Idol School Attack' will take place in August.
