A post on a popular Korean online forum is going viral after a K-pop fan shared a surprising detail about a rookie idol’s family.
On July 1, a post was created that prompted many netizens to express shock after a sudden realization. The post reads, “I’m going to drop out of being a K-pop fan for real. Hearts2Hearts' member's mom is born 1989,” revealing that the mother of the group’s youngest member, Ye-on (born 2010), is just 35 years old. The fact that her mom is younger than G-Dragon, born in 1988, left many fans stunned.
Adding to the surprise, some pointed out that 1989 is also the birth year of some Girls' Generation members.
