On July 2, a new episode of the YouTube channel DefconnTV was released under the title 'I Keep Thinking About Mr. XX | Who is the Favorite Guest Chosen by the Nasol MCs? The First Dinner....'
In the video, model and television personality Song Haena opened up about a terrifying experience from her childhood when she narrowly escaped being kidnapped. "Since elementary school, I was often surrounded by perverts," Song shared. "There were so many exhibitionists that the school even sent out notices warning us not to react if we encountered one."
The most shocking incident, she said, happened at her own home. “We lived on the third floor. One day, as I opened the door and began climbing the stairs, someone suddenly ran up behind me and covered my mouth,” she recalled, re-enacting the chilling moment.
Shocked, host Defconn asked, “Did that really happen to you?” while actor Lee Yi Kyung reacted, “That’s an attempted kidnapping.”
Song continued, “It was a tall, well-built man in his early 20s. I thought, ‘I’m doomed. What can I do?’ I couldn’t scream or do anything. But my mom has a bit of OCD and is very sensitive to noise. So I started stomping my feet loudly on purpose. The sound echoed through the staircase and reached the third floor. My mom opened the door and yelled, ‘Who are you?’ and that’s when the guy ran away.”
Defconn responded, “If your mom hadn’t opened the door, something terrible could’ve happened.” Song agreed and added, “Since then, I’ve developed a trauma. I can’t take the subway if I see someone running behind me.”
This emotional revelation shed light on the silent trauma many carry and the power of parental instincts that can, quite literally, save lives.
