According to an exclusive media outlet report on July 3 KST, YG Entertainment's head producer Yang Hyun Suk "privately" met with CL recently to discuss matters related to 2NE1's reunion and future promotions. The source said that Yang Hyun Suk and CL have held meetings on multiple occasions since last year, discussing not only 2NE1's promotion plans but also CL's solo career and direction.
When asked to comment on the exclusive report, a representative of YG Entertainment stated, "Because this was a private meeting, we cannot confirm any specific details."
Meanwhile, 2NE1 successfully concluded their 15th anniversary tour 'Welcome Back' earlier this year with an encore performance in Seoul from April 12-13. The tour spanned 12-cities across Asia from 2024~2025, demonstrating the group's lasting popularity.
