On March 3, Moon Geun Young's agency Namoo Actors stated, "Actress Moon Geun Young has completed her fourth surgery, and she's greatly improved. She was discharged from the hospital this afternoon. However, as she's gone through a number of surgeries, she needs continuous rest until she recovers. She plans to receive treatment and rest for now. We thank everyone who worried and supported her. She'll meet you all when she's healthy soon."

As previously reported, Moon Geun Young visited the hospital after experiencing severe pain in her right arm on February 1 and was diagnosed with compartment syndrome. The condition is caused by pressure buildup from internal bleeding or swelling of tissues, decreasing blood flow and depriving muscles and nerves of needed nourishment.

i worry about what caused the compartment syndrome to begin with... Excessive exercising or trauma??? did she workout too much trying to get in shape for her role in romeo and juliet? Was she in an accident? and 4 surgeries is a lot.

aw... I remember watch her on 2D1N... was so cute how she was excited about everything and being outside... maybe she can take this time off her schedule to actually do some relaxing (outside of her house)

That's a relief hope she recovers well and take a deserved rest with family before coming back into the light, being sick and with an illness can be a pain in the rear but its not the end of the world - just learn to take it easy and keep doing things as normal as possible... FIGHTING!!

As a nurse, I've had patients who describe excruciating pain before the surgery and hardly any pain after surgery, not even needing pain medication. So I can only imagine they're going through.
