T-ara's agency MBK Entertainment commented on the recent controversy involving Hwayoung and her twin sister Hyoyoung.

On February 9, MBK Entertainment held an interview with Osen, and the rep stated as follows:

"Though there were aspects we felt were unfair when the incident first occurred 5 years ago in July of 2012, we didn't explain this situation. At the time, the public had already turned their backs on T-ara, so no one would have believed it had we said anything. The truth from 5 years ago has come to light, but to be honest, we don't welcome it. The misunderstanding has been clarified, but from the T-ara members' point of view, it's tough that it's being a big issue again. It's also tough to handle from our company's perspective."
T-ara themselves also said through the label: "We're flustered that this happened so unexpectedly."

The bullying controversy involving T-ara and former member Hwayoung has been stirred up once again following Hwayoung and her twin Hyoyoung's guest spot on 'Taxi'. Since then, text messages of Hyoyoung bullying Ahreum were revealed, and an alleged former T-ara manager has also placed blame on the twins.

Wang Sejung be crying under her blankets.

Rumor is like fire, it can spread easily even from a smallest flame. When some fans dug out that the bullying proof is just screenshots from a bigger picture, no one listen back then. I am so happy finally... the truth is heard and seen. I've been listening to them right from their debut era and I was really sad that the bullying scandal tarnish their image. All they did was reprimand Hwayoung on sns and it blew out of proportion. They fought together from debut and won number one before Hwayoung even joined and she just bring them down without even an apology. She's not even an original member.

Ohh... How happy i am right now... Its so unjust for them to fall after all the hard works to the top... I'm truly sincerely really happy the truth finally out...

ElvisPanda midnightbee Saturday, February 11, 2017

All these years, my heart hurts everytime i see, read, heard anything about t-ara... Thanks god...

Violet086 ElvisPanda Sunday, February 12, 2017

Am I the only one that knows the truth but doesn't care? It doesn't change the fact that they bullied her or tried to ruin her image/reputation. I never liked T-ara anyways.

matv23 Friday, February 10, 2017

T-ara debuted with OG six members, some years pass they get new members, leaving after some time. Leaving with the OG members.

matv23 Friday, February 10, 2017

What was the use of the new members, if it was just going to be them after all.

coca2 Friday, February 10, 2017

this is so out of topic but i heard hwayoung called infinite sungjong a crazy bastard and he then unfollewed her on insta like is this for real ?

MitchTatsuoka Friday, February 10, 2017

Lesson learned: Don't bring up the past bec their's Karma waiting ... lol

nojams2001 Friday, February 10, 2017

Can someone explain to me what happened??

ron_ace nojams2001 Friday, February 10, 2017

in 2012 T-ara had a so called bullying scandal u can google 4 more. One of the former member which is Hwayoung was the victim and the whole kpop fans went crazy especially knetz. at that time T-ara was at the peak of their fame and just below SNSD and in a sec everthing T-ara had blew and became dust. most of netizens put blame on current T-ara members because like it's said above everybody already turned their backs on T-ara. Then Hwayoung got kicked out ans as the other articles said yesterday it turns out Hwayoung likely to play victim all this karma seems to take place. sadly nothing can change anymore.

I wish this would teach a lesson on not jumping to conclusions and blindly hating like sheep but... I feel history will just repeat itself with the sensitive unforgiving side of netizens.

cheriebunny jbeanbean Friday, February 10, 2017

Like people are jumping to conclusions now? Because this doesn't actually prove anything since everything coming out is from "ex employees" from one side only.

jbeanbean cheriebunny Friday, February 10, 2017

there have been confirmations from the companies themselves of the reports.

Violet086 jbeanbean Sunday, February 12, 2017

I judged from their actions on social media, the airing of dirty laundry from their company, and some of the video clips. They were mean/bitches to her even before the leg incident.

Violet086 jbeanbean Sunday, February 12, 2017

Their popularity fell for a reason. It's not easy to have an entire country's fan base turn their backs on you.

jbeanbean Violet086 Sunday, February 12, 2017

I don't mind your reasoning, but it was one sided hate if I recall. Hwayoung was deemed completely innocent which was not the case. But we're talking about South Korea... they're very sensitive when it comes to even just using the wrong honorifics or simply not knowing history. I've seen sheep mentality on people accused of terrible things in the past or even small things. And even after being proved innocent, their image is destroyed. Which is why I'd wish we'd analyse and study the whole picture.

Violet086 jbeanbean Sunday, February 12, 2017

I agree with you that sheep mentality is wrong. But if you are saying that Hwayoung was seen as an angel while T-ara was seen as evil bullies, that is not the case at all. Even now Hwayoung is getting cursed out and death threats from not only Koreans but international T-ara fans too. While T-ara's popularity and image did take a hit, I believe they brought it upon themselves. They publicly humiliated and bullied her. All groups have issues but it is up to the group to resolve it amongst yourselves.

Violet086 jbeanbean Sunday, February 12, 2017

I think what Hyoyoung did was what normal sisters do.

jbeanbean Violet086 Sunday, February 12, 2017

yea, back then I can only remember the gifs of rice cakes etc with little to no question for hwayoung and a-lot of bandwagon-ing. I'm not saying T-ara were completely innocent either, not at all. I just wish both sides were given evaluation. Even using google to look back at the old 2012 comments, I can't see many against Hwayoung but you may have been looking at comments in the right places so I'll take your word for it haha. As for T-ara's public comments... yeah I agree, you can tell they let their emotions and sarcasm act before common sense. With the way Hwayoung was acting they were right to be pissed off, however they should never have let it get the better of them and posted all that. I would guess they tried to sort it amongst themselves but... I mean Hwayoung did say "I didn't know how to behave in society", so I'd imagine it's difficult to communicate with someone with behaviour problems.

jbeanbean Violet086 Sunday, February 12, 2017

For the sister thing hmmm... I'd agree that as family you would do anything for a sister but, the way Hyoyoung went about it only made it worse for Hwayoung. Again, letting emotions take over rational thought has come back to bite both T-ara and the twins.

Funky_Angel Friday, February 10, 2017

Kwang Soo is friends with the father of the twins so it's no wonder he sat there and did nothing while his own group was getting hated to flames. I still remember the thousands of comments that were being put up during the scandal. Either way, it's time that the agency steps up and corrects what's right and wrong and just reveal it all

Vixxisinfinite Friday, February 10, 2017

yup that exactly what i was think even if they release the truth at the time people already decided to hate them article and the news would rather push the idea tara bully the girl tara then tell the truth. The only one that benefit from this whole thing was netizen buzz who only rose to fame through tara bully scandal now there try to make sure to publish anything negative or misleading about tara right now. Including in other websites that are deleting comments apologizing to tara. At this point who cares there popular in China. That were all the money at. It going to be too hard now for them to rebuilt there music career in Korea. This girl does not even care what she did I'm sure she going to try to benefit out of this.

ron_ace Friday, February 10, 2017

Couldn't agree more with " the public had already turned their backs on T-ara" during the chaos happened . The fans who stay with them know the how fcked up thing was. Knetz really succeed buried T-ara alive and left only pain for the Queen's.
