A close friend of comedian Park Na Rae responded to online speculation over excessive photo editing by releasing original images from her recent wedding-themed photo shoot, with the left showing the original and the right the retouched version.
On August 4(KST), photographer Ahn Woong Seon—Park’s friend of 23 years—shared a video on social media titled “Original Reveal,” showing before-and-after shots from the session.
The photos, originally featured on MBC’s 'I Live Alone', showcased Park posing solo in a wedding concept shoot with Ahn behind the camera.
While the beautiful photos drew praise, some netizens claimed the images were heavily retouched.
In response, Ahn clarified, “Na Rae worked hard to lose weight and tone her body, so there wasn’t much to fix in post-production. I could over-edit, but I choose not to. Does it still look like heavy Photoshop to you?”
Viewers praised the transparency and praised Park’s natural beauty, commenting, “There's hardly any difference between the originals,” and “Even the unedited shots are stunning.”
Park Na Rae also shared the photos on her own account, noting, “Barely edited—mostly just good lighting and angles.”
