YoonA to show a new image in a drama opposite Ji Chang Wook

Girls' Generation's YoonA is now confirmed for new tvN drama, 'K2,' a production she previously turned down but was offered again.


On August 10, tvN and her agency SM Entertainment confirmed that she will be appearing as the female lead in the drama.  tvN's rep stated, "YoonA recently confirmed she will appear.  As the female lead, she will be matched with the male lead, Ji Chang Wook."

SM Entertainment confirmed likewise, stating, "YoonA will show a new image through a character that is different from what she's usually shown."  She will be the hidden daughter of a candidate for election.
