IOI/'Produce 101's Yoo Yeon Jungwill be joining Cosmic Girls.
Starship Entertainmentrevealed, "IOI's Yoo Yeon Jung will be joining Cosmic Girls. We thought a long time about the synergy between Yoo Yeon Jung and Cosmic Girls. Please support the new 13-member Cosmic Girls."

The label added, "Cosmic Girls and Yoo Yeon Jung had prepared to be in the same group before their debut. Even after, they've been supporting each other. It wasn't an easy decision for the label, but Yoo Yeon Jung and Cosmic Girls' trust in one another was the base of our decision. We hope many people give them courage and strength. Also, Yoo Yeon Jung will be fulfilling IOI's official schedules as planned."
