Bang Si Hyuk, Chairman of HYBE, has returned to the spotlight with a noticeably transformed appearance.
On June 18, Bang took to social media to celebrate LE SSERAFIM's sold-out concert in Japan, sharing a photo believed to have been taken backstage during the third day of the group’s performance at Saitama Super Arena.
What caught fans’ attention most was Bang’s changed look. His slimmer jawline and more defined facial features stood out, drawing comparisons to the youthful idols he supports. Even in a casual backstage snapshot, Bang’s leaner physique was hard to miss, impressing many with his stylish, refreshed image.
His transformation has recently sparked buzz online, with some initially speculating that the photo might have been digitally altered. However, as more unedited photos surfaced, suspicions were largely dismissed. Online communities began to speculate whether he might have used popular weight-loss treatments such as Wegovy, an injectable medication known to be trending among celebrities.
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM is set to release their Japanese single "DIFFErent" on June 24. The single includes the title track of the same name, a Japanese version of their March hit "HOT" from their fifth Korean mini album, and “Kawaii (Prod. Gen Hoshino),” the theme song for the Netflix series 'My Melody & Kuromi.'
Following the release, LE SSERAFIM will continue their Asia tour, with upcoming stops in Taipei, Hong Kong, Manila, Bangkok, and Singapore throughout July and August.
