It was a joyous moment for both the group and EXO-Ls, and during the acceptance speech, the members did their best to express thanks toward everyone who supported and showed them love for this comeback. Leader Suho spoke on the group's behalf, making his round of thanks to SM, the staff members, managers, and, of course, EXO-Ls.�

When Suho was done speaking, the MCs barreled on, unaware that Lay had the mic raised to his mouth. One of the MCs, namely CNBLUE's Jungshin, seemed to notice that Lay was trying to say something. Lay, eager to give his acceptance speech, interrupted Seventeen's Junghan and spoke up with a "excuse me, yo yo" until the camera panned back on him. Lay then said, "Thank you to all the fans who love EXO."�

Some people seem to be of the opinion that Lay was a bit rude in the way he delivered his speech while others claim that it was the MCs who ignored Lay.�
