Singer/actress Eugene and actor Ki Tae Young quickly dismissed rumors of any "discord" between the couple in a recent YouTube update.
In a new video shared on the YouTube channel 'Eugene VS Taeyoung', the couple enjoyed a date at Mangwon Market near Hangang. The filming crew revealed on this day, "You said that you don't have time to go on dates like you used to. Today, we will force you to go on a date."
Excited at the offer, Eugene said, "We do go around the neighborhood from time to time. But it's true that you can hardly call that a date. It's been a long time since we actually made time to go on a date."
The couple then went around Mangwon Market, picking out bites for lunch. While looking around at a gift shop, the filming crew remarked, "You must have had more time to do stuff like this before you had kids." Hearing this, Ki Tae Young answered, "We really enjoyed our newlywed life before we had kids. For about 3 years, we had a lot of fun together."
Later on, while picnicking by Hangang, the filming crew brought up the couple's "discord" rumors. "Eugene once said that [Ki Tae Young] is not kind to you anymore," the PD mentioned, to which Eugene replied, "Well, that was actually me just being greedy. We've been married for 15-years. But I wanted him to treat me like he treated me when we were just married."
Ki Tae Young added on, "I've said this time and again, but my love for my wife and my family has never changed. The only thing that's changed is that there are more members of the family." He also explained on a more serious note, "It's true that I felt burdened as the head of the family. For a time, I was very busy, to the point that I experienced a burnout. I worked too hard for too long, and I was exhausted. Eugene worried about me a lot back then. It's much better these days. My love for my family has grown deeper."
