Rookie boy group Close Your Eyes sat down with 'Elle' magazine to reflect on their debut journey, what lies ahead for the team as well as individuals, and some juicy details on their July comeback.
For this pictorial, the members displayed their comfortable, natural sides on a quiet day beneath the sun, fully capturing the group's youthful vibe.
During their interview, each of the members candidly shared their thoughts on their journeys as a group and as individuals. When asked how he imagines Close Your Eyes in the future, leader Jeon Min Wook said, "An image of the members shedding tears on a big stage surrounded by fans comes to mind. Right now, the member still look like children in my eyes. But I have no doubt that when the time comes and they are performing on a great stage, shedding tears at the sight of their fans, they will have grown into wonderful artists. I sincerely hope that day comes."
On the group's highly-anticipated summer comeback, Ma Jing Xiang said, "I'm really curious to know how the fans will react to our new choreography. It's better than the choreography for our debut song. It's much harder too. It's very fast-paced. We are working really hard these days. I want everything in this comeback to be much better than our debut album, not just the choreography. I'm sure that the fans want to see us grow. So I want to do even better." Ma Jing Xiang also commented on one of the b-side tracks from the group's new album, "It's like Christmas in the summer!"
