Previously, Minzy's father publicly posted something suggestively accusing YG Entertainment of media play after her departure from 2NE1.
He had written: "If you're going to act like this with the media play, then I'm going to hold a press conference for the truth. I tried to leave it as a beautiful separation..." However, this post has since been deleted and replaced with a new message on his Instagram on April 6.
He wrote, "I would like for you not to do false or wrongful DM (direct message) or translations. I have figured out that misunderstanding can arise from saying and pointing out that something is untrue in the moment. I hope that you will not misunderstand me."
