Pastor rapes woman under the guise of curing her OCD

A pastor was reported to have been sentenced to prison for forcing a woman in her 30s, who suffered from OCD, to have sexual relations with him.�

Daejeon District Court announced on January 25 that they sentenced 49-year-old 'A' to four years in prison and the completion of a 40-hour-long treatment program for charges of sexual assault.�

'A' was said to have met 30-year-old 'B' while he was carrying out pastoral duties a missionary. 'B' had confessed to 'A' back in February of 2014 that she suffered from OCD, which prompted 'A' to tell her that the way for her to cure her OCD was to have sexual relations with him.�

'B' eventually fell for 'A's devices and from March through August of that same year, the two had sex a total of 13 times.�

In court, 'A' testified, "We only had sexual relations because 'B' seduced me. I never mistook sexual activities as cure for OCD."�

The courts ruled, "The defendant assaulted the plaintiff under the pretext of curing her [OCD]. Because his crimes is grave and shocking, he needs to be severely punished."�
