Jang Geun Suk is now confirmed for the new, historical drama, 'Daebak.' Previously, he had been in talks to act in it with Yeo Jin Goo and Lim Ji Yeon.
On January 28, his agency revealed that he was now confirmed for SBS's new Monday and Tuesday drama about a big gamble between one man and the king.

Jang Geun Suk stated, "For two years, I've been going to the university to look back on myself in the standpoint of perseverance and to pull together my stance on and passion for acting. For a change in image, I have been prudent in the selection of productions. The result of that was the awesome opportunity to stand before the audience as 'Daebak's Dae Gil," who is the bold gambler to take on the king.
This will be his first drama comeback in about three years and his first period piece in eight!
