There's quite an issue with Junsu's hotel in Jeju Island. Junsu was previously accused by two construction companies of failing to pay them 5 billion won (about 4.5 million U.S. dollars) for his Toscana Hotel in Jeju Island.
Last week, that was revealed to be a false accusation, and the lawsuit was dropped. But there's more to the story.
An official report by Junsu's lawyer on November 17 KST stated that back on November 13, it was officially decided by the prosecutor that Junsu was falsely accused, and the case was dropped.
In fact, not only did Junsu pay all of the fees for the construction of his Jeju Island building, but he had actually overpaid.
The lawyer added, "Regarding the civil case that is still left, the Toscana Hotel evaluated that the accuser received their construction fee, and even received an excess payment of 8 billion KRW (around $6.8 million U.S. dollars). The constructor unfairly embezzled the construction fee, and we will bring up a strong, legal counterclaim."
