EXO's Chanyeol is reportedly expanding his variety show appearances as a cast member on SBS' new pilot program '18 Seconds'!
The show's side stated on July 24 through a report, "The battle contestants who will take part [in the show] are 8 celebrities who will represent their field, including an idol that boasts massive popularity."
The 'most popular idol' is reported to be Chanyeol according to insiders! Along with him, the cast members include Kim Na Young, profiler Pyo Chang Won, Kim Jong Min, and movie director Bok Man Dae. We'll have to stay tuned for the reveal of the remaining cast members.
The upcoming show will also be hosted by Lee Kyung Kyu and announcer Bae Sung Jae.
It's been said that the average time mobile users focus on a video is only 18 seconds. And thus, the program '18 Seconds' will have the members attempt to create an 18 second video with the most number of views in the world. It's a new type of variety program that involves the cast members actively using smartphones and apps.
Viewers can also take part in the challenge themselves by creating video clips and hashtagging #18s.
