Looks like Jin Se Yeon won't be taking the lead in new MBC drama 'Scholar Who Walks the Night' after all. �Now the female lead might be played by Lee Yu Bi!
A rep from Jin Se Yeon's agency said on April 9, "Jin Se Yeon had received an offer to appear in MBC's new Wednesday-Thursday drama, 'Scholar Who Walks the Night,' but she has ultimately declined it. �She's wrapped it up well with the production crew."

Now Lee Yu Bi's agency said on the same day, "Lee Yu Bi recently received an offer to appear in MBC's new Wednesday-Thursday drama, 'Scholar Who Walks the Night', and is in the final stage of talks."
If she accepts, she will be playing the daughter of a fallen noble house who disguises her gender in order to survive and make money. �She will be paired up with Lee Jun Ki, who will be playing the vampire scholar. �Meanwhile, TVXQ's Changmin,�Lee Soo Hyuk and Kim So Eun are either in talks or confirmed�to join as secondary characters. �
