Kim Jang Hoon guest starred on KBS's 'Win Win' and opened up about his past�and his reasons for only wearing long sleeves.
Kim Jang Hoon stated, "I tried to cut my finger for sound. When I was young, my obsession with sound was so great, I caused self-injury. The reason I only wear long sleeves is because though they have faded I have scars left on my arms."
He continued on, "When I couldn't hit a high note I would become very annoyed. But when I hurt myself I could hit those high notes. At that time, I thought 'I would sell my soul to be able to make that sound'. So, I once tried to cut my finger off. I understand van Gogh's reason for cutting off his own ear."
Following his shocking confession, the singer stated, "Sometimes people ask why I scream like that. Even now, I think I am creating sounds rather than singing. Though I sing for people, I also sing for myself, for me to live".
