UEE hopes to change preconceptions about idol turned actors through upcoming drama, 'Jeon Woo Chi'

After School's UEE recently revealed her goal to change the negative preconceptions that usually surround idols who take on acting through her role in the upcoming KBS drama, 'Jeon Woo Chi'.

UEE shared through Pledis Entertainment on the 21st, "I want to break the preconceptions of idol turned actors/actresses. I know that it requires a lot of effort so I am trying my hardest. I want to reciprocate the love given to me by many people through 'Jeon Woo Chi'."

This will be UEE's first time taking on a lead role in a historical drama, which has fans curious as to how well she will adjust.

'Jeon Woo Chi' will tell the tale of a wizard played by Cha Tae Hyun, who seeks to avenge the death of his mentor, Hong Gil Dong, and falls in love with�Hong Gil Dong's granddaughter Hong Mu Yeon, played by UEE.

The drama will premiere following 'Nice Guy'�this November.
