World star Psy has been given the highest prestige of performing at the 'Busan International Film Festival'. The 17th Busan Internation Film Festival is to be held next month from the 4th to the 13th. Psy will be performing on the 6th during 'Lotte Night'.
For this year's festival, Asia's top stars will in attendance. The opening ceremony on the 4th will be hosted by actor Ahn Sung Ki and Chinese actress Tang Wei, while 'Cold War' will be shown as the opening film. Also, director Huh Jin Ho along with the stars of his new film 'Dangerous Relationship', Jang Dong Gun, Zhang Zi Yi, and Cecilia Cheung, have all been invited, creating high anticipation among fans.
The combination of Korea's biggest film festival and Psy's performance has the film industry screaming for joy. There is great anticipation for the increase in international attention and attendance considering one study found that Seoul's Gangnam district has seen a large increase in tourism since "Gangnam Style" has gained international fame.
