On August 24th, CJ Entertainment released two new still cuts featuring a special kiss scene between 'R2B: Return to Base' co-stars Shin Se Kyung and Rain never before seen in the movie!
The two still cuts show the couple engaged in a passionate kiss in completely different situations. While the first one shows them on a romantic date, the second depicts Rain's glorious return home, as evidenced by the cheers of his fellow soldiers in the background. The still cuts are said to be of scenes that were edited out of the movie.
At the press conference for the movie held previously, Shin Se Kyung had been asked how she felt about her kiss scene with Rain, to which she replied, "It was great. We actually had two kiss scenes together but both were edited out by the director to make the movie progress more smoothly. Seeing the final product, I can see why the decision was made, but I do feel a bit disappointed that they were left out."
