Baek Ji Young became very emotional discussing MC Mong, who is in court under the suspicion of voluntarily evading mandatory military service.
On the May 22nd broadcast of KBS2's 'Win Win', the singer remarked, "There is someone who is hurting just as much as I did in the past, and it is none other than MC Mong," shedding a few tears.
"I don't want to talk about his mistakes. He is simply my dongseng," she said. "No matter what he did wrong, I want to embrace my Mong just as any family member would."
"Mong is afraid to even meet people. I feel so bad that all I have to say to him is that he just needs some time. I know his pain better than anyone else," she continued, wiping away more tears.
"I call him everyday and I tell him that even a woman like me has overcome it all," she added. "I hope that he will carry through with that in mind."
