Earlier, it was reported that Entertainer Lee Soo Geun's wife Park Ji Yeon received a kidney transplant last November thanks to her father, and is currently spending time in recovery.
An official representative informed Star News recently that�"She received the transplant last year, and still continues to receive treatment regularly. We are closely watching her progression."
Lee Soo Geun revealed that his wife was ill on a television program last year. His wife is suffering from�gestational hypertension or�pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH), and has been undergoing dialysis.
Lee Soo Geun's representatives remarked, "Thank you to everyone who has shown their support and offered their encouragements. We hope for a quick and permanent recovery."
The MC will be talking about his wife's surgery on the 100th episode of KBS 2TV's 'Win Win'. The episode will air on January 31st.
