Singer IU, who has been gaining much praise for her strong vocal talents and ability to sing three octaves, has transformed herself into a bright and cheerful Christmas girl. In view of the upcoming Christmas holidays, IU performed her duet track, ''Merry Christmas in Advance", from her recent album on Mnet's 'M! Countdown'. The production crew of 'M! Countdown' stated, "With Christmas just around the corner, requests from fans wanting to see a performance of IU's 'Merry Christmas in Advance' flooded in. Since the broadcast is on the day before Christmas Eve, we wanted to liven up the Christmas mood; therefore we're going to decorate the stage so that both the artist and fans can enjoy the performance."
