DSP Media to sue for plastic surgery allegations against Rainbow's Jaekyung

Kim Jaekyung, the leader of 7-member female idol group, Rainbow, and her agency, DSP Media, filed a damage suit against a plastic surgery clinic for using her picture to promote their business. According to the Seoul Central District Court, DSP Media and Kim Jaekyung filed a damage suit against the director of 'B' plastic surgery clinic and their promotion admin. DSP Media stated, "Kim Jaekyung has never received plastic surgery for her eyes or the outline of her face. They uploaded Kim Jaekyung's high school graduation and pre-debut photos on their blog and spoke as if she received plastic surgery. One of the biggest successes behind an idol group is their physical appearance. There will be a definite drop in image along with difficulty in obtaining more popularity once an idol is known for plastic surgery. The clinic violated her name and portrait rights along with defaming her." DSP Media went on to state, "We will be suing for $132,000 USD for using her picture without her permission, and for the damages received from their spreading of false information."
