Hwang Jung Eum to 'debut' as a singer

Actress Hwang Jung Eum is finally 'debuting' as a singer on�SBS's 'Giant'. According to SBS, her debut scene is set to play in the 36th episode on the 14th. As the drama is set in the 1980s, her character,�Mi Joo, is to make her official debut during the 1986 Asian Games, at the then-popular theatre stage called 'Baghdad' in Myung-dong. It was reported that Hwang Jun Eum recorded the scene at a theater cafe in Misari on the 10th. She wore a short haired wig with a black two piece dress, and sang the 1986 hit song 'As I Let You Go With a Smile' by Lee Eun Ha. A staff who was on set stated, "Even though Hwang Jun Eum-ssi learnt the song and choreography in just one day, she acted it out brilliantly. There is always something different about ex-singers." The staff also added, "The stage is similar to the theaters in Las Vegas."
