Last month, Mnet asked the nation's producers to give name suggestions for the new boy group of 'Produce 101' season 2. As of June 13, more than 4,000 suggestions have been given, and out of them all, two group names have become the most popular.
The first one is I.M.I. The 'M' in I.M.I emphasize that the new group is a male edition of the show. The name also tends to be similar to last season's group name IOI and the theme song ''Pick Me'' or ''Me, It's Me''.
Another suggestion gaining the most attention is Wanna One. This name sounds similar to the numbers 101 and means the one and only group that we want.
Other suggestions include 1OI, Pick Boy, B.O.I (Best of Idol), NU'EST and the Boys, N.Pick (Nation's Pick), and more.
The final group name will be announced in the near future, while the last episode is set to air live on June 16.
