Actor Cha Tae Hyun revealed photos from the private wedding of his close friend, singer Kim Jong Kook.
On October 6th, the YouTube channel 'DdeunDdeun' released a video titled “Chuseok Flip-Out is Pingegeogo”. In it, host Yoo Jae Suk joined actors Cha Tae Hyun, Yoo Yeon Seok, and broadcaster Nam Chang Hee for a conversation.
During the broadcast, Cha Tae Hyun mentioned Kim Jong Kook’s recently held wedding. Referring to the bride—who is not a public figure—Cha Tae Hyun recalled that Haha described her as “beautiful.”
Yoo Jae Suk responded, “It’s a private ceremony, so why show the bride on ‘Running Man’?” raising a point about the exposure.
Cha Tae Hyun then shared behind-the-scenes moments from the ceremony. He said, “Usually, I don’t take many photos at weddings. At Kim Jong Kook’s venue, the flowers were arranged so beautifully. But no one told us not to take pictures. When the bride and groom started walking down the aisle, everyone held back. That’s when I realized this wasn’t a regular wedding.”
He added, “I could tell they spent a lot,” and revealed photos of lavish floral decorations. Yoo Yeon Seok, upon seeing them, opened his mouth in astonishment, fueling more curiosity.
Yoo Jae Suk noted, “The guests were told not to take pictures, so even they didn’t lift their phones,” emphasizing that the ceremony remained fully focused. He said it was a unique wedding experience.
Meanwhile, Kim Jong Kook held a private wedding on September 5th in Seoul, inviting only family and close acquaintances.
