SBS’s new Friday-Saturday drama 'Would You Marry Me' (directed by Song Hyun Wook and Hwang In Hyuk, written by Lee Hana, produced by Studio S and Samhwa Networks), set to premiere on October 10, follows a man and woman who fake a marriage for 90 days to win a luxury newlywed house giveaway. The drama stars Choi Woo Shik (as Kim Woo Joo) and Jung So Min (as Yoo Meri), whose chemistry and acting synergy are already drawing high expectations.
Choi Woo Shik’s character, Kim Woo Joo, is the fourth-generation heir to Myungsundang, Korea’s first-ever confectionery brand. After earning his MBA and gaining field experience at a New York consulting firm, he joined Myungsundang as the head of marketing, perfectly embodying the image of a capable successor.

In newly released stills, Woo Joo’s office looks steals attention. Dressed in an oversized suit that highlights his tall frame, he exudes a sophisticated aura. He pairs a crisp white T-shirt with neutral-toned oversized suits in beige and black, radiating chic charisma. Pulling off a style that not everyone can, he gives off the unmistakable air of an heir apparent.
Particularly eye-catching is Woo Joo’s relaxed smile as he greets the marketing team members introduced by his uncle Jang Han Goo (played by Kim Young Min), the company’s CFO. Showing no signs of nervousness on his first day, Woo Joo appears fully composed and ready, giving off the aura of a confident professional. Viewers are eager to see how Woo Joo will navigate his dual role as Myungsundang’s marketing team leader and its strongest successor candidate.
