Singer Choi Ye Na is set to showcase her quirky and lovable charm on MBC’s 'Radio Star' Chuseok special.
Appearing alongside Jang Jin, Kim Ji-hoon, and Kim Kyung-ran for the episode titled “Full of Energy,” Yena shares behind-the-scenes stories from her 'Waterbomb' performance to her unexpected friendship with a science YouTuber.
Yena confessed that she sought advice from Waterbomb goddess Kwon Eun Bi , who participated in the same audition program. “I asked her what to do if the water pressure was too strong, and she just said, ‘You just have to get hit by it,’” Yena laughed, revealing Eunbi’s down-to-earth response. She added that she even tried using an umbrella on stage, turning the moment into pure comedy.
She also talked about her growing friendship with science YouTuber Orbit (Gwedo), saying, “I once DM’d him asking if aliens really exist, and he actually sent me a long, thoughtful reply.”
Yena reflected on her growth through the variety show 'High School Mystery Club', saying it helped her become braver. “I used to be a scaredy-cat, but now I want to solve every problem to the end,” she said, earning applause from the hosts.
To top it off, Yena showed her quick wit during the Chuseok-themed Songpyeon Detection Game, where she tried to identify the MC who ate the spicy rice cake.
