On October 6, Jennie attended the 2026 Chanel Spring/Summer Collection show at the Grand Palais in Paris as Chanel's ambassador, stealing the spotlight. Arriving last among the invited celebrities, Jennie stole the show wearing a sky-blue lingerie-inspired camisole and midi skirt. She immediately commanded attention, exuding her signature aura and receiving enthusiastic applause.
Jennie's arrival at the show generated further buzz after fellow BLACKPINK member Rosé was cut out from ELLE UK's social media post from the Paris Fashion Week Saint Laurent show, sparking a racial discrimination controversy. For this reason, Jennie's appearance as the last guest, signifying her to be the VIP of the show, attracted significant attention.
Even more attention was drawn to her social media afterward. Jennie shared photos showing a relaxed side of herself, along with a warm shot posing with Lily-Rose Depp, daughter of Johnny Depp, and also Gracie Abrams, highlighting her impressive connections.
Meanwhile, Blackpink, the group Jennie belongs to, is currently carrying out their world tour 'DEADLINE,' which started with a performance at Goyang Sports Complex in July and spans 33 shows across 16 cities.
