BLACKPINK's Jennie has unveiled 'Zen Serif,' a new typeface inspired by both traditional blackletter forms and contemporary serif design.

Released ahead of Korea’s Hangeul Day on October 9, the font serves as a free tribute to the Korean alphabet, first created by King Sejong in 1446.

Developed in collaboration with professional typographers, Zen Serif reflects Hangeul’s phonetic precision and visual balance, reinterpreting its beauty for global design use. The project embodies Jennie’s creative vision and appreciation for Korean culture, seamlessly merging artistry and typography.

Jennie’s label, Odd Atelier, has made Zen Serif available for immediate worldwide download. To commemorate the holiday, the brand also announced plans for limited-edition merchandise featuring the new typeface.
