According to Fantagio, Yoo Jung and Do Yeon's trip will be both a learning experience as well as a time of rest and recuperation. They'll be meeting up with well-known American music producers such as Lauren Giraldo, Francis, Pitbull, B.O.B, Mac Miller, Jose Iopez, and more, as well as vocal trainers, dance trainers, and more.
The label further added, "We thought that Choi Yoo Jung and Kim Do Yeon, who promoted tireless as members of IOI last year, needed both a time to recharge, as well as time to wide their perspectives. They will hone in new musical skills while preparing for new challenges, by meeting up with different overseas artists and resting in the U.S."
They'll be heading out on February 14, for approximately two weeks, before returning to Korea to fulfill their domestic schedules. In sync with the debut plans of Fantagio's upcoming girl group Fantagio Girls, the two trainees are said to be visiting the U.S. on more occasions in the future. As for Fantagio Girls's debut, the label said, "If plans proceed quickly, the goal will be to debut this summer."
