On February 10, after the release of Wonder Girls's final goodbye track for fans, "Draw Me", J.Y. Park took to his Instagram to leave words of thanks to the girl group for the last 10 years.

He said, "Beautiful and special young girls...humble, diligent, pure, wise...started with the music that I made but finished at the top with the music they made... It's another step, a new page in your lives but don't be scared. As long as you stay true to who you are the world will know how special you are :)"

Wonder Girls officially announced their disbandment this past January 26, and released their final goodbye track on February 10, the date of their 10th anniversary.

He cares for his artists. Even yg does. They're not even the ones who make these decisions and shit. Idk about sm but people should shut the fuck up if they don't know what they're on about. It's been 10 years have you ever thought they wanted to move on. If not now to disband then when? When they're 50? They have a life in front of them.

When people think JYP is still the ceo

I feel like more than leaving the group, Sunmi and Yenny simply left a company that clearly could no longer provide enough ressources and attention for WG as a group, and if they can't do that than who's to say JYPE can give them a proper solo (I mean, WSL was only a CD single and not an EP). We're so used to seeing idols have individual activites on the side like MCing, variety shows and acting to gain more popularity (and make more money) that we forget that some of them just want to do what they've spent years training for, which is singing  (and dancing). I'm glad WSL did so well, making the girls end on a high note, but still, I can't help but be sad that JYPE can't invest in them anymore. They were and are at their peak right now as a group and as artists, and I for one do not believe that they wanted to disband. But it just wasn't worth the stay if the compnay were planning on having htem be inactive as (at least as singers).

I love WG so much! I'm so happy for their accomplishments and know that this is not the end for them. I wish JYP was still the CEO of his company because he would have never let them disband.

k people need to realize that first, wonder girls had to end some time. i doubt the girls wanted to be a girl group forever and they probably did want to eventually find their own paths. 10 years was a good run. maybe they didn't want to end necessarily now, but i'm sure it was a bittersweet moment because no one wanted it to end, but it had to end for them to continue to a new chapter in their lives. second, JYP IS NOT EVEN THE CEO. he's a producer and is not and has not been the ceo for a while now. of course he still has power, but it's not as much as y'all like to think and blame him for.
