B2ST's Junhyung commented on the plagiarism controversy involving newly debuted group B.HEART.

Some fans have been alleging the composer of B.HEART's debut song "Realistic" plagiarized B2ST's "Ribbon", and Junhyung gave his two cents on the matter. Though he doesn't name the composer of "Realistic", Stay Alone, he does reference Kim Taejoo, who arranged "Ribbon".

On January 27, Junhyung made the following post to Instagram:

"I feel like a lot of people are confused, and to be honest, I felt so apologetic about not saying anything that I'm writing this.

That composer is a rookie composer that started last year, and he contacted us saying how much he liked our music. He sent us what he worked on, and one of the demos he sent is the one that's now become a controversy. Taejoo told the composer that the song was too close to 'Ribbon', and he told him that's why it shouldn't go out. He also didn't hear that it would be released. Though I think it's a very good thing that people are finding inspiration from our music and making new projects, this kind of situation is very regrettable. I'm disappointed that this could happen to not only us, but to other composers as well.

Though I feel very uncomfortable writing this, I have too many other things to do for this to drag on any longer. I'm writing this so it could end now.

On one hand, I'm worried if my actions are too rash, but I don't want the people who love and listen to our music to be hurt any longer. I hope all of you have a joyful and comfortable Lunar New Year."

What are your thoughts on Junhyung's post?

It's a pun to "bunch of excuses" or something like that... there are various translations to it... but basically he's calling the composer out for the excuses that he came up with and did not say the truth

The composer actually denied plagarism and said he regretted the negligence. That's why junhyung posted the eggplant twice ( which means ' a mess')

The eggplant basically meant that it's a mess. The composer should have really thought this through

The eggplant emoji is a synonym for "dick" in young-people linguo.

I don't understand the point of his comment.  He's obviously calling it's plagiarism, albeit in a round about way.  But instead of pursuing the matter through a lawyer, he's just publicly inciting the mob here and then asking for the controversy to end?  I like the guy, but you can't have it both ways.

he basically said that the composer had already come to them about it and they told him not to use it. SO it is plagarism and he appreciates that people look up to Beast but hopes they find their own color too.

After beast left cube entertainment they're fighting to keep their name and the copyrights of their songs. He (along with other members) already have alot of legal matters to deal with. Why should they get involved with a new company and new artists when they already have alot to deal with. Also, he's doing them a favor. The new groups career could basically be over with this controversy. The new group not only plagiarized Beasts song 'Ribbon' but they also made their logo and outfits similar to beasts 'Ribbon' concept.

To me it just looks like he want to explain to his fans. So he told the truth by saying it's plagiarism. He does not want the both ways. Looking at his and other members situation, they still have a lot of things to settle such as their copyright song and their group name. By seeking the matter to the court will add on their works and fans will be more worry. All he did was for his fans. I'm sad people does not see his intention. As a fan, I would like to see them happy and achieve what they want to achieve. So, seeing this happen from the start of 2017 that does not make me feel good. The composer denying was the thing that make me angry. Knowing the story, he should just admit and apologize. It makes me sad that someone does not appreciate Junhyung's and his team hard work as a composer to make that song. It was a meaningful song at least for me as a fan.
