For fans of the highly popular series 'Kill Me, Heal Me' featuring Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum, we've got good news!

Media outlets including Sina reported on August 25 that a Chinese version of 'Kill Me, Heal Me' will be entering the filming stages soon.

The drama will be remade under the title 'Seven Egoes,' and the lead roles will be portrayed by actors who are younger than the original version.

The drama will be categorized as a thriller/idol drama and is set to begin filming, so keep an eye out for updates!

I'm writing bc AS ALWAYS there are people who say "China copies everything", "Do they even invent anything" but If you take time to think about it , yo would realize that ACTUALLY China IS NOT the only one. Every country does that and that is how this society evolves. Never ever seen Korean remakes of Chinese/Japanese dramas or movies? Well it's the same all around the world.

Everyone is complaining about chinese remaking a korean movie but when Korea remake shows from other countries no one says shit and gets hyped up. The hypocrisy is amazing

hypocrisy? not even close.if u watched yrs of chinese dramas then you'll know y

I agree with you, there used to be a time when Koreans remade Chinese/Taiwanese dramas as well. Take a look at Boys Over Flowers and It Started with a Kiss. Though I do think that it's Korea's time to shine now and their quality is much better than China and Taiwan's these days. Well one thing's for sure, there's more dramas to watch and everyone has their own opinions of who does it better so meh.

Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo is a K-Drama coming out very soon on Aug. 29, 2016, it's starring IU and Lee Joon Ki. Which is an remake of a popular and highly successful Chinese Drama and novel by the same/similar name. So answering you're question, yes they have created something on their own that was good enough for Korea to remake as well .

America does this too. Korea too (notable examples being Hana Kimi/To the Beautiful You and Meteor Garden/Boys over Flowers). Literally every country does this; it's a great way, particularly in the entertainment business, to ensure that whatever you're producing will have a following already. It's an especially good way for lesser known producers and script writers to get known, and an easy way to make money (or not 'easy' but perhaps 'easier' than creating your own original content, and having to advertise so much).
