Seventeen's Jeonghan prepares a pleasant surprise for fans during his mandatory military service

Seventeen’s Jeonghan, currently serving as a social worker following his enlistment on September 26, 2024, has found a thoughtful way to connect with fans while away from group activities. His agency, PLEDIS Entertainment, had previously announced that Jeonghan would be unable to participate in the group’s 12th mini album promotions and world tour, though he would still appear in pre-recorded content.

Then recently, Jeonghan prepared a special surprise for fans. He wrote on Weverse, "Since the concert is coming up, I’m holding my own small special event~ But it’s a secret what it is. I can’t satisfy everyone, so just understand my heart and don’t be upset! Just enjoy the excitement of not knowing what it is! I’ll tell you the result later," revealing he had personally prepared the event.

Following the event, Jeonghan finally explained that he had prepared special keyrings for fans. It was revealed that he had specially crafted keyrings of his character, Toram. While Jeonghan did not draw the illustrations himself, he personally prepared the keyrings, creating 20 out of a total of 40 to be distributed discreetly at a concert.

He shared on Weverse, "Ta-da! The event wasn’t really a big deal, but I’ll tell you about it. At the concert, fans said they would trade merch with other fans who arrived early, so I wanted to give something to Carats, too. I made about 20 Toram keyrings. It took a long time to make, so I couldn’t make more. Out of the total 40 keyrings, I made 20 and distributed them without anyone noticing. If the Toram keyring has J, H, JH, or the Seventeen logo on its belly, it’s made by me. I drew the design, baked it in the oven, attached the ring, and did everything myself! If it looks similar but has nothing on its belly, that one wasn’t made by me. But if it has initials and a heart, it’s a rarer one! Anyway, just imagining what the event could be is enough fun. Next time, I’ll do it again. If anyone got one, brag about it! Even if the belly doesn’t have initials, the Toram was still made by me."

Fans were touched by Jeonghan's special event and were also surprised he had prepared these keyrings himself.
