Former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin, who is in legal dispute with HYBE over the exercise of a 26 billion KRW (18.8 million USD) put option, has been accused of submitting "suspiciously manipulated KakaoTalk conversations" as evidence to the court overseeing the case.

The issue surfaced during the trial held on September 11 at the Seoul Central District Court, where HYBE presented an "Alternative version" of the same KakaTalk conversation that Min had submitted.

According to the legal circle on September 14, HYBE argued that the "original" version of the KakaoTalk logs that Min's side submitted contained additional lines suggesting that Min may have attempted to manipulate the conversation with a former ADOR executive.

In HYBE's version, Min allegedly told the ADOR executive at the time, "I'm going to capture this (KakaoTalk), so write it well"; "Not it's time to act, go again"; and "Delete it and rewrite it. Cut here."  The instructions displayed appear to suggest the conversations were staged, and Min was directing the dialogue.

Moreover, the specific timestamps when these remarks appeared were also brought to the court's attention. HYBE claimed that the line "I'm going to capture this (KakaoTalk), so write it well," appeared at the top of the conversation that Min had presented to the court previously.

The conversation exchange reportedly contained claims that a key ADOR executive had been subject to continuous "harassment" from a high-ranking HYBE official.

The conversation took place in January of last year, just before the conflict between HYBE and Min over ADOR’s management surfaced. Min had submitted it to the court as evidence that she and her associates were under pressure from HYBE, which ultimately contributed to her resignation as CEO.

This trial, currently ongoing before the Seoul Central District Court’s Civil Division 31 (Chief Judge Nam In Soo), merges two lawsuits: (1) Min and two others suing HYBE over payment related to exercising their put option (stock purchase claim), and (2) HYBE’s countersuit seeking confirmation of termination of the shareholders’ agreement against Min and another party.

Meanwhile, Min Hee Jin also issued a direct response to the allegations raised in court that day.

She told Sports DongA, "The September 11, 2025, hearing only allowed ADOR’s legal team to conduct direct questioning of its witness. Most of the reported content is based solely on ADOR’s lawyers’ one-sided questions. Since there was insufficient time, cross-examination has been postponed to the next hearing on November 27, 2025, where I will present my rebuttal. Therefore, the reported content may not be accurate or fair."
