Calling all talented hopefuls! The audition show which you all know and love as 'K-Pop Star' is coming back for a third season!
An SBS representative confirmed, "'K-Pop Star 3' has been confirmed and is expected to change its usual time slot to Friday. But since there are still five months left until it is supposed to air, the time slot of the show has not been finalized yet. 'K-Pop Star' usually airs for 90 minutes per episode, so it is unlikely that the show will be able to fit into the 60-minute opening between weekend dramas. The show has a higher chance of airing on Friday nights."
With 'K-Pop Star 3's predicted move to Friday nights, fans as well as music industry and broadcast insiders are waiting to see the possible competition between 'K-Pop Star 3' and Mnet's 'Superstar K5', which is also set to air during the same time slot.
'K-Pop Star 3' will premiere this September!
