On the morning of May 29th, family and friends of the late Chae Dong Ha watched on in tears as his coffin was borne out of the Seoul University Hospital for the funeral procession.
Chae Dong Ha's portrait was carried by former SG Wannabe bandmate and close friend, Kim Yong Joon. Members Lee Suk Hoon, Kim Jin Ho, M to M's Son Jun Hyuk, and others stood by Chae Dong Ha's side until the very end, and about 20 fans were allowed on to the scene.
The procession was carried through Hannam-dong, his hometown, before he was cremated and laid to rest at the Sky Castle Memorial Park.
