Close Your Eyes unveiled the music video for their new single “X” on November 11.
The track is an R&B dance song that expresses the determination to overcome fear and push beyond personal limits. Member Jeon Minwook participated in writing the lyrics, while Kenshin contributed to the choreography. Jeon Minwook described, “The latter part of the song soars into high notes, but Ma Jingxiang’s murmured low-tone "X" adds a unique charm.”
Jeon Minwook added, “I hope Close Your Eyes is remembered as a group that freely experiments with the music they want to make. We’ll continue breaking genre boundaries and showing new sides of ourselves.”
The group will continue their domestic and international activities, including their first solo concert next year and a tour in Japan, to connect with global fans. Japanese member Kenshin said, “I can’t wait to show my family an amazing performance. I’m also taking English lessons, aiming for activities in the U.S.”
Close Your Eyes’ third mini-album ‘blackout’ was released on November 11 at 6 PM KST, available on music platforms both domestically and internationally.
